Fred Dispense Plus automatically applies both software and drug updates. No user intervention is required, but please ensure that your server PC is always switched on as automatic updates are applied outside of business hours.

UserVoice suggestions

A number of the features and enhancements in this release are in direct response to feedback from our customers who have submitted suggestions via UserVoice. The features below with a UserVoice icon include a link to the original UserVoice request.

If you have a great idea on how to make Fred Dispense Plus an even better way to dispense, let us know. See Post your Fred Dispense Plus idea on UserVoice for more information.

60 Day Dispensing Reporting

A new filter has been added to the Script Analysis Report. When the ’60 Day' Scripts Only filter is applied, the script analysis report will be filtered so that only scripts for 60 Day PBS Item Codes are included in the report.

The List of Scripts report can also be filtered for 60 Day scripts. This gives you the ability to filter down to individual scripts.

See UserVoice item .

List of Scripts Report – Additional Information

Additional columns have been added to the List of Scripts Report column chooser:

  • Continued Dispensing
  • Gross Profit $
  • Gross Profit %
  • Patient Date of Birth
  • PBS Estimated Recovery

See UserVoice item and UserVoice item .

Select Items on Invoices and Receipts

When printing a multi-item invoice or receipt, you now have the option to select which items are included. This can be useful if the patient wants a receipt with only, for example: private items or items above x dollars. Multiple filtering options are available to make selections easier.

See UserVoice item and UserVoice item .

PBS Claiming Screen Column Sorting

Data in the PBS Claiming Screen can now be sorted by clicking on the column headers.

Medication Management Baskets

The MedView Flow Embedded Queue now supports medication management baskets. Medication management baskets can be generated by medication management integrations to queue scripts that require dispensing.

MedView Flow Queue filtering

MedView Flow Queue filtering functionality is now available and can be accessed via the filter icon at the bottom of the embedded queue.

Click on the icon to open the MedView Flow Queue screen.

(Click the image to enlarge it).

From this screen users can select items currently available in the queue (from the Available Scripts section) and filter their queue accordingly for items that they would like to see in their embedded queue.

After selecting the items you want to filter the embedded queue for, move them into the Selected Scripts section, then click Filter Terminal Queue to close the MedView Flow Queue Screen.

(Click the image to enlarge it).

The embedded queue will now be in a filtered state, as indicated by the filter icon displaying with a tick. The list of baskets will reflect what has been filtered, along with an updated basket count, where the first number represents the number of baskets in the current filtered view and the second number represents the total number of baskets in queue.

Filtered view of the embedded queue is terminal specific.
